Description of the charity’s trusts:
| Type of governing document (eg. trust deed, constitution) |
The constitution of Pun Samaaj UK (dated 06 March 2015) is the governing body. Majority of the vote in Annual General Meeting will pass the agenda if anything needs to be amended onto the constitution. The board will inform all members for meeting well in advance with all necessary information. |
|---|---|
| How the charity is constituted (eg. trust, association, company) |
This is legally adopted by the UK charity Commission (CIO) in 2015 |
| Trustee selection methods (eg. appointed by, elected by) |
The existing trustees are responsible for selection of new trustee. Trustee candidate must have a clean record of CRB. In selecting new trustees, we seek to identity members who regularly attend events and are willing to volunteer to help in our community work. Potential trustees are invited to attend the meeting and are given more details of the charity’s basic aims and activities. If all agree, they are then appointed as new trustees. |
