Objectives and actlvltles
a. Pollcl•s and oblectlves
The charlty was founded by 8amabas Communlty Church In 2014. Our alm is to serve the vulnerable and n6&dy
at their polnt of need. We endeavour lo provide a holistic seprfice and, as seen in the feedback we get. the
smallest act of kindness can make a big difference to a family or an individual.
During the year we were privileged to be able to celebrate 10 years of operations with our dedicated volunteers
and stakeholders. Over the years our charitable work has expanded slgnificantly, and we have invested in our
staff resources and IT systems to ensure that our services are managed and run efficiently and afe client
focussed.
In p8rtl¢ular we now have a large shed lo improve our procedures for the recelpt and handllng of Food Bank
items. We are very grateful for th8 generosity and good will of individuals and organisations whose financial
donations and fund-raising activities underpin everything we do. Our Food Bank supports on average 200 people
a week and the food donations we received need to be supplemented by the purchase of fresh food and
groceries.
In January 2025 we were sad to loose Richard Buckle who was a founder director of Bamabas Communlty
Projects. He is now able lo foGUS on other projects and his full-time work. We appreciate his commitment,
expertise and hard work over the past 11 years.
In settlng objectives and planning for activitiès. the Trustees have given due conslderalion to general guidance
published by the Charity Commission relating to public benefit, including the guidance 'Public benefit: running a
charity IPB2)'.
