Constitution The Christian Arabic Evangelical Church is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation registered on 6 March 2015 and is governed by its constitution. A new constitution was adopted on the 6 January2023. Objectlves and actlvltles The Objectlves of the Church are the furtherance ofthe Christian Gospel and the seNing of the Christian Arabic communlty of BrSghton and Hove. Organlsatlonal structure The church committee who seNed duringthe year, and the charity trustees, are shown on page l. Church committee members are appolnted bythe exlsting members and are provided with appropriate tralnlng to undertake the role theywlll occupy within the church. The Church Is affliated to the Fellowship of Independent Evangelical Churches IFIEC). Revlew of actlvltles Key events during the year Included: MarchlApril2023- we celebrated Good Fridayand Easter ancl Easter Monday church picnic at Dalesdown. April- the funeral of our dear brother Paul Martin was held in the church. May- Brother Elia Kirillos held revival meetings. June- Rev. Atef Rushdi held revival meetings. June-three persons were baptised. July- pre-conference revival meeting with Rev Ezzat Shaklr and singersamuel Faroug Annual conference 28-30th July 2023. August- outreach team 5 days. Rev Nashid Ghali and singer Nassef Sobhl held meetings for one night. September- Rev George Azml Bible evenings for three nights. October- Light celebration In place of Halloween. October- Young ladies, meeting started to meet bi-monthly. November- We celebrated Thanksgiving. December- Christmas and Newyear celebrations. January 2024- Revival meetings Samuel Faroug and Pastorjean Naanouh from London. The Ladies held 7 meetings via Zoom. They also went on a daytrip up to London. Ladies celebrated Christmas by holding a party Incorporatingvarious activitles. January 2024- the start of Men's meeting. A Bible verse and a meal. On Tuesdays. February- Series on the Rapture, Return of Christ and the Last days of the Church. Study in Revelations. Ladies held a panorama in the life of Esther on a one-day conference at church. We celebrated Valentines Day. March 2024-we celebrated Mother's Day. Good Fridayand Easter Sunday and Easter Monday at Dalesdown. Children's days out during half-term.

Review of financial posltlon There was a cash deficlt on the general fund of £6,811 during the year12023: deficlt of £4,497). At 31 March 2024 the church held cash funds of £16,832 {2023: £23,643). Trustees and related partles None of the trustees received any remuneration orwere relmbursed pald any expenses during the year. There were no related party transactlons durlngthe year. Rlsk management The church has consldered the risks It may face and conflrms that systerns have been establlshed to mitigate them. Reserves The church endeavour5 to maintain cash resources to cover at least six months expenditure.
