Summary of the purposes of the charity as set out in its governing document	Para 1.17	We provide a pre-school setting for up to 40 children aged 2-5. The sessions run Monday-Friday, 9am-12pm and 12pm-3pm during term time. Some children attend for the whole day, some attend for a morning or afternoon session.

Para 1.17 and 1.19	We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage set out by the Government and are inspected by OFSTED. We provide Early Years education to families in Woodley and the surrounding areas. We have a highly qualified team of staff. Children are always encouraged to fulfil their individual potential in a nurturing environment. The objective is to make learning fun

Achievements and Performance

Summary of the main achievements of the charity, identifying the difference the charity’s work has made to the circumstances of its beneficiaries and any wider benefits to society as a whole.	Para 1.20	During the year we have run a pre- school setting for 38 weeks of the year. There is a wait list for our provision. In October 2022 we were inspected by Ofsted and were rated as “Good”, and the report highlighted the “impressive learning opportunities outdoors” we offer. We have extended our outdoor play areas to give even more opportunities for outdoor play. Inside, we have invested in new flooring. It was great to get back to “in person” events, with a highly successful sponsored walk around Woodford Park to raise funds for a defibrillator in February 2023, a summer games day, and a leaver’s picnic which was enjoyed by all. We’ve also piloted surveys to understand better how parents feel about our provision.
