EPPING FOREST HOUSING AID SCHEME ANNUAL REPORT FOR THE YEAR ENDED 31.12.20 In the course of the year EFHAS has enabled one man & his son to take up private rented accommodation. In 2020 there was I bond issued. By the end of the year 59 guarantees with a total value of £47,497 were standing against EFHAS. This is Slight up on the previous years figure because there have been less bonds cancelled either through permanent rehousing. moving or sole of property. The amount paid out in claims in 2(Y20 was zero. Because of the difficulty in recruiling volunteers ond the lack of affordable property to rent in the Epping Forest Area it was decided that EFHAS had come to the end of its wiability as a charity. It was therefor decided to contact EFDC to infom them of this situation and to request a meeting to discuss the way forward. EFDC continue5 to underwrite the Scheme to the value of £60.OCMJ. As there is no shortfall for 2020 this guarantee would not have been called upon should the Scheme have ceased to exist in 2020. 3) It is envisaged that no call will be made in 2020 on the funds available for general purposes.
