The trustees of Minority Communlty Ald are pleased to present their annual account5 for
the year endin8 Au8USt 2024.
The or8anlsatlon Is a re8lstered charlty and a communlty led organisation, formed in 2010.
The or8anisation Is a not-for-proflt or8anlsatlon worklng for dlsadvantaged community living
in London.
Objectlves of the or6an15atlon:
The Minority Community Ald's objectives are the relief of poverty and distress, the
advancement of educatlon and a posltive integration for particularly BME from African
ori8in throu8h the provision of advice, support and information.
Out ut to date
An after-school club, a supplementary school, and extra school activities to support
disadvantaged children to raise their confidence and improve their academlc achievement
in their main stream education.
We have supported 630 children and young people by improvin8 their confidence, school
attainment and their social skills
The or8anisation advice session has supported 710 young people and adults.
The organisation's employment training activities has supported 315 young people in 2024
by improvin8 their employability chances and 91% of them have been able to secure part-
time and full-time employment. 980h went back to education.
Minority Community Aid has engaged I qualified fundraiser and 2 more volunteers to assist
the organisation with their activity's delivery.
PLAN FOR 2024
2025
Durin8 the period 2024/2025 Minorlty Community Aid will focus on the followin8 activities:
Participate in international conference
Healthy Life Style and fi8htin8 obeslty
Improve the delivery of supplementary education and cultural actlvities to 8ive opportunity
to more disadvantaged children and youn8 people.
To run employment worksliops to create jobs opi)ortunltles aiid reduce uneniployment
amon8 members and youn8 people.

Run healthy livin8 workshops and actlvltles for our members to help them Improve thelr
health and Ilfe style.
To run advice services se55ion for vser5 includln8 older people. Speciflc Advice services wlS1
Include eniploymeiit, health, educatlon and Iiouslng. We will make also referrals where
approprlate to partiier organisations.
The or8anisation will continue on Its meii)bers and volunteers training to strengthen the
or8anlsation capacity In service delivery.
