Structure Governance and Management The Charity is governed by the Trust Deed of 15 August 2014. Trustees are appointed by invitation of the serving trustees. Objects and activities

To relieve poverty and suffering in any part of the world through the improvement of water supplies and sanitation. Achievements and Performance

During this year of operation we have continued to support the provision and maintenance of water wells in Uganda through our partner charity. Public Benefit Statement

The trustees have paid due regard to the Charity Commission guidance on public benefit in organising and managing the work of the charity. Financial Review

Funds continue to be received towards the Charity’s work and amounts have been transferred to Uganda for the water well work there. The trustees are grateful to all those who have contributed, making the work of the charity possible. We still hold a good balance in the bank at the year end. However with the continued needs it is a challenge to maintain adequate funds to keep up with the demand.

No reserves are necessary at present as the various projects are only undertaken when sufficient funds are available.

We consistently need to maintain and encourage sponsors and donors to give regularly in order continue with this life changing work. Plans for future periods

We look forward to continuing with the work initially in Uganda through the Mission 4 Water charity as well as promoting the needs of people around the world for clean water supplies.

**Independent Examiners’ report to the Trustees of Mission 4 Water**

I report on the accounts of the Charity for the year ended 31st December 2024, which are set out on page 3.

## Respective responsibilities of trustees and examiner

The charity’s trustees are responsible for the preparation of the accounts. The charity’s trustees consider that an audit is not required for this year under section 144(2) of the Charities Act 2011 (The Act) and that an independent examination is needed.

It is my responsibility to;

examine the accounts under section 145 of the Act;

to follow the procedures laid down in the general Directions given by the Charity Commission under s145 (5) (b) of the Act; and

to state whether particular matters have come to my attention.

## Basis of independent examiners’ report

My examination was carried out in accordance with the General Directions given by the Charity Commission. An examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the charity and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also includes consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts, and the seeking of explanations from you as trustees concerning any such matters. The procedures undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would be required in an audit and, consequently, no opinion is given as to whether the accounts present a ‘true and fair view’ and the report is limited to those matters set out in the statement below.

## Independent examiner’s statement

In connection with my examination, no matter has come to my attention:

1. which gives me reasonable cause to believe that, in any material respect, the requirements:

- to keep accounting records in accordance with s130 of the Act; and

- to prepare accounts which accord with the accounting records and to comply with the accounting requirements of the Act.

- have not been met; or

2. to which, in my opinion, attention should be drawn in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
