Peacehaven Horticultural Society Re9irtered Chanty Number 1160608 ANNUAL REPORT Year ending 2025 Peacehaven Horticultural Society (PHS) is one of the longest established th charities in Peacehaven, founded 12 May 1922, with the first meeting held in the Rosemary Tea Lounge. In 2025 Income reduced by £2668 and expenses grew by £407. Resulting on a deficit of £264. In 2024 there was a £2000 Grant to stage the Annual show which was not received in 2025. Additionally there was a decline in Memberships and Coffee morning income. The Annual Show was a great success despite reduced numbers and is a showcase for the Charity. The Society retains a base at the Peacehaven Town Council Allotments at Cornwall Avenue. Monthly meetings with a variety of Guest Speakers are held. rd A Community cafe is held at Community House on the 3 Friday of the month ,alongside the Friday Market. Other events are also held as advertised, There has been a change of Trustees with some Trustees standing down after several years of dedicated service. The intention of the Trustees in 2026 is the re-launch the Society and increase membership and social inclusion of the Charity which remains financially sound. Cathy Gallagher . Trustee Treasurer.
