The Trustees presents our report and the financial statements for the year ended 310ecember 2020.
Statement of Trustee's Responsibilities
The Trustees are responsible for preparing the Trustees. Rewjrt and the financial statements in accordance with
applicable law and regulations.

for safeguarding the assets of the organisation and hence for takin8 reasonèble steps for the prevention and detectio

Review of 2020 Includin8 Public Benefft
Through the year we have continued the proces5 of developing the work of Heart 4 Harlow in 5 Core areas.
Commerce (Shops, Business and Agriculture)
Civic (Local Authority and Councillors. MP, Police and Fire Services)
Arts, Culture. Education and Sport Ischools. College and UCH. Arts association5, Sports clubs and

Health & Wellbeing (Charities and Community Group5, NHS and the care sector)
Churches and Chaplaincy
Through the perlods of national 'lockdown' associated with the Covid-19 pandemic, Heart 4 Harlow encouraged church
members to offer their services in a joint statutory, charity and community response to support the m05t vulnerable.
We were represented on a number of groups, which determined our local response.
Our normal annual gatherings were replaced with streamed servKes at Pentecost and Christmas. while our weekly and
monthly prayer meetin85 continued via zoom.
Robert Findlay, who has been central in the establishment and development of Heart 4 Harlow retired at the end of the
year.
The chairs of the fwe Core Groups listed above will work with the Trustees to further develop the work of Heart 4
Harlow in the Coming years.
We are pleased to have shared in the oversrght of the chaplaincy Servi￿ at Harlow College providing 5UPPOrt to
5tudent5 and staff.

I report on the accounts of Heart 4 Harlow for the year ended 31 December 2020.
Respective responslbllltles of trustees and examiner
The Charity's Trustees are responsible for the preparation of the account's. The Charitvs Trustees consider that an audit
is not required for this year lunder sertion 114121 of the Charities Act 2(K)I IThe Act) and that an independent
examination is needed.

To follow the procedures laid down in the General Directions given by the Charity Commissioners (under section

To state whether particular matters have come to my attention.
Basis of independent examinerfs Statement
My examination was carried out in accordance with the General Directions given by the Charity Commissioners. An
examination includes a ￿vIeW of the accounting records kept by the Charity and a comparison of the account5
presented with those ￿Cords. It also includes consideration5 of any unusual ttems or disclosures in the account5, and
seeking explanation5 from you as trustees concernin8 any such matters. The procedures undertaken do not provide all
the evidence that would be required in an audit and consequently I do not express an audit opinion on the view given by
the account5.
