The Chairty is a charitable company limited by guarantee, incorporated on 17 July 2013 and registered as a charity on 16 February 2015. The charity’s memorandum and articles incorporated 17 July 2013 as amended by special resolution registered at Companies House on 10 February 2015.
The Charitable purpose of charity is the relief of sickness and the promotion of good health of cancer patients and their families, in particular but not exclusively by, providing care, support, information and practical help regarding cancer caring, raising awareness of cancer, providing training for carers and promoting healthy living styles.
To further these purposes for the public benefit, we carried out the following activities:

1 To provide support to cancer patients and families

2 To run training courses for carers

3 To conduct research alongside with academic establishment

4 To advocate the well-being of physical and psychological health

5 To collaborate with organisations of similar objectives
The main achievements of the charity in the year were:

1 To hold support groups and meetings

2 To organise social and educational events

3 To coordinate a network for cancer support
The trustees have read the Commission’s Public Benefit requirement statutory guidance, and have had regard to this when running the charity.
In the financial year ended 31 July 2022, the Charity had an income of £42,926 and an expenditure of £18,149.
There are no funds held by the charity that are materially in deficit.

INDEPENDENT EXAMINER’S REPORT TO THE TRUSTEES OF CHINESE ASSOCIATION FOR CANCER CARE
I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above charity (“the Trust”) for the year ended 31 July 2022.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND BASIS OF REPORT
As the charity's trustees, you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (“the Act”).
I report in respect of my examination of the Trust’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.
INDEPENDENT EXAMINER’S STATEMENT
I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have come to my attention in connection with the examination (other than that disclosed below *) which gives me cause to believe that in, any material respect:

the accounting records were not kept in accordance with section 130 of the Charities Act; or • the accounts did not accord with the accounting records; or
-
the accounts did not comply with the applicable requirements concerning the form and content of accounts set out in the Charities (Accounts and Reports) Regulations 2008 other than any requirement that the accounts give a ‘true and fair’ view which is not a matter considered as part of an independent examination.
I have no concerns and have come across no other matters in connection with the examination to which attention should be drawn in this report in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.

For the year ending 31 July 2022 the company was entitled to exemption from audit under section 477 of the Companies Act 2006 relating to small companies. The members have not required the company to obtain an audit in accordance with section 476 of the Companies Act 2006.
The directors acknowledge their responsibilities for complying with the requirements of the Act with respect to accounting records and the preparation of accounts.
These accounts have been prepared in accordance with the provisions applicable to companies subject to the small companies' regime and in accordance with the provisions of FRS 102 Section 1A - Small Entities.

1 Statutory information
Chinese Association for Cancer Care is a private company, limited by guarantee, registered in England and Wales, registration number 8613387. The registered office is 165 THE MANOR DRIVE, WORCESTER PARK, SURREY, KT4 7LW.
2 Compliance with accounting standards
The accounts have been prepared in accordance with the provisions of FRS 102 Section 1A Small Entities. There were no material departures from that standard.
3 Accounting policies
The principal accounting policies adopted in the preparation of the financial statements are set out below and have remained unchanged from the previous year, and also have been consistently applied within the same accounts.
Basis of preparation
The accounts have been prepared under the historical cost convention as modified by the revaluation of certain fixed assets.
Presentation currency
The accounts are presented in £ sterling.
Turnover
Turnover represents the value, net of VAT and discounts, of goods provided to customers and work carried out in respect of services provided to customers.
