Commentary on the year
This has been a year during which we have sought to move more to meeting in person, rather
than online. We have also tried to offer an online option, whenever possible. However, the
number of people attending our main weekly gathering (our Family Seprfice), in person, is often
less than twenty! We also meet in person for our Tuesday Coffee Momings and our children's
Thursday Club. Our Tuesday evening Bible studies and our Saturday moming prayer meetings
were held online throughout the year. We also have had to deal with a lot of serious illness
amongst our members. In sprte of this ￿ have exporiencad a lot of oncouragwn•nt and enjoy
good relab'onships among us.
A Famity Servlce was held each Sunday in 2022. A joint Serv￿ with Acton Baplist Church, and
the House of Transformation, was held in January. A further joint servi(* With Acton Baptist
Church took place in October. (These joinl services Iwk place at Acton Baptist Church's
premises.) Outside speakers We￿ able to preach in person at our Family Services. Our children's
Sunday Bible Club, held during the Family Service. was held only a few times during the year.
During 2022, our commemoration of the Lord's Death In the Breaklng of Bread was held
every Sunday at Berymead Hall. Sadly. On￿ again, there Vépre no baptisms during the year.
We have been able to hold our Tuesday Coffee Mornings during the second half of 2022. Prayer
meetings were held online every Saturday moming during the year. On Tuesday evenings we
met online for Bible study each week, during tenn-b"me. throughout the year.
The Thursday Club (for children aged between 6 to 11 years) was held, at the thurch premises,
for most of 2022.

on pages 6 to 15.
Respective responsibilities of the Managlng Trustees and the Examiner

consider that an audit is not reqUI￿d for this year under seclion 144(2) of Iho Charities Act 2011

It is my responsibilty to:
examine the accounts under seC￿n 145 of the 2011 Ad,.
follow the procedures laid down in the general ￿'rectionS given by the Charity Commission
under section 145(5)(b) of the 2011 Ac(. and
state wthether particular matters have CA)me to my attention.
Basls of Independent examinefs report
My examination was camed out in accordance the gewal Directions gi￿En by the Charity
Commission. An examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the charity and
a comparison of the accounts presented ¥￿th those records. It also indudes CA)nsideration of any
unusual items or disclosures in the accounts. and seeking explanatK)ns from you as trustees
conceming any such matters. The prwlures undertaken do not provide all the wiidence that
would be required in an audit arKI consequently no opinion is given as to whether the accounts
present a 'true and fair vi&* and the report is limrted to th08e matters set (xrt in the ststement
below.
Independent examlnorfs statemont
In connection V4ith my examination, matter has Lx)me to my attent￿.

to prepare accounts which ac(x)rd with the a￿nting r￿dS and comply with the

of the accounts to be reached.

Basls of Independent examinefs report
My examination was camed out in accordance the gewal Directions gi￿En by the Charity

a comparison of the accounts presented ¥￿th those records.

Independent examlnorfs statemont
In connection V4ith my examination, matter has Lx)me to my attent￿.
