To promote social inclusion for the public benefit by working with people who are socially excluded on the grounds of their ethnic origin, religion belief or creed (In particular, person of the Coptic Christian faith who are of Egyptian nationality , origin and descent and who live in England, including those seeking asylum and those granted refugee statues) to relieve the needs of such people and assist them to integrate into society, in particular by: **Summary of the objects of the charity set out in its governing document** (I) Providing education in English language and communication skills; (II)providing support and opportunities to encourage and enable members of the Egyptian Coptic community to participate more effectively with the wider community; To provide or assist in the provision of facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation or other leisure time occupation of individuals who have need of such facilities by reason of their youth, age infirmity or disability, financial hardship or social circumstances with the object of improving their condition of life. **Summary of the main activities undertaken for the public benefit in relation to these objects (include within this section the statutory declaration that trustees have had regard to the guidance issued by the Charity Commission on public benefit)** ## Weekly Gathering: Our charity members meet every other Sunday for a social gathering. A program which starts with a small prayer, different activities and games is done every week, which helps the members get to know each other and keeps them entertained. We always try to enhance our program as we see fit for each week. Also, we always try to relate to our Coptic Christian background by educating the members about our faith and sharing current news of the Coptic Christians in the Middle East. Our meetings include a home-cooked meal, which we all sit and enjoy together. ## Activities: We have a range of activities that both volunteers and nonvolunteers can participate in. The list includes cookery classes, the choir for adults, the choir for children, table tennis, DIY and crafts, crochet, festival/eventrelated activities for Mother’s Day, Christmas, Easter, etc… also preparing and organising major events and making decorations is a big portion of event-related **Additional details of objectives and activities (Optional information)** You **may choose** to include further statements, where relevant, about: policy on grantmaking; policy programme related investment; contribution made by volunteers. We may also do a bake sale where we encourage people to bring homemade baked goods to sell. We are also thinking of including some sports equipment so that kids can have fun in matches of football or basketball Young volunteer leadership: Young volunteers will often be involved in helping to prepare, participating in or leading some of the activities above to develop their teamwork and leadership skills. Examples of these are leading DIY for children, decorating the environment in case of an event, singing in the choir, learning to crochet and referee sports matches. ## Newcomers: We intend to help adults and children get used to British society and ease the culture shock they might experience. In our meetings, we aim to welcome newcomers to the UK and make sure they feel included in our society. Kids are a big part of our community which is why we organize social and educational activities, teaching support groups especially for them. We also help support newcomers with the right way to develop the skills needed ## Section D Achievements and performance |**Summary of the main achievements of**

maintaining the acting team.
Its members are members of
our charity who love to
perform on stage. The team
includes 15 of our youth and
has participated in our
annual party and other small
events we have run over the
past year. We also maintain
the choir, which includes 28
members who enjoy
singing. Both teams meet
regularly for rehearsals.
We organised a Christmas
fair, and about 220
members and non-members
from the public came to the
event. The event included
organised games, snacks
and other entertainment.
Our members donated the
materials for the snacks and
the games.
We have increased the
number of young volunteers
for greater youth
