Shri Shirdi Sai Sansthan (UK) (SSSSUK) is committed to enabling as many people as possible to participate in the worship of and to learn about the Indian Saint Shri Sai Baba of Shirdi.

SSSSUK promotes information on Shri Sai Baba through regular prayer meetings, participation at various fairs, arranging and offering guidance to those interested in having prayers for Sai Baba held at their homes and through collaboration with other Temples and Organisations.

This has been achieved by SSSSUK arranging prayer events where members from all communities are welcomed to join and participate. The charity uses the funds it raises to hire premises for its prayer meetings, organising professional singers at its larger events and distributing free blessed food (“prasad”) to all those attending.

The charity also hands out free materials on Shri Sai Baba such as **Summary of the main** books, audio CDs, magazine and souvenirs such as stickers, bookmarks, **activities undertaken for the** pens, keyrings and bracelets. **public benefit in relation to these objects (include within** The Trustees maintain an overview of the charity’s events and consider **this section the statutory** how its services can involve the many groups that live within proximity of **declaration that trustees have** the venues where worship takes place. The charity also looks to work **had regard to the guidance** with other faith groups and local communities to consider the contribution **issued by the Charity** it can make to wider public welfare and in particular helping those in **Commission on public** need. **benefit)**

In particular, the charity tries to enable ordinary people to learn more about Shri Sai Baba, whose lifelong philosophy encouraged community cohesion and unity of all faiths. It attempts to do this through:

- Collective worship and prayer

- Learning about Shri Sai Baba through scriptural reading and study of the holy book Shri Sai Satcharitra

- Celebrating major events of other faiths such as Christmas, Hanukkah, Eid, Vaisakhi

- Developing knowledge, faith and love for Shri Sai Baba

To maintain this work it is important that the organisation’s Trustees, Volunteers and Congregation continue to make all members of the public feel welcome each time they come to events or when seeking further information on Shri Sai Baba.

Section D Achievements and performance

During the year, the charity remained challenged from the previous impacts of the pandemic. As such, the charity was not able to celebrate in the usual way but still held informal prayers.

The charity maintained its working relationships with Shirdi Sai Global Foundation and other Shri Sai Baba temples and organisations, both within the UK and oversees.
