Match funding programme
Match funding is available for Morrisons colkagues who raise mne/ for Charities Ihal are registered with the Charity
Commission or the OffKe of the Scottish Charty ReguLator that deliver charilable actwitEs in England, Scotland or
Wales.
For a match fundirKJ appl￿titIon to be successful. Morrisons colleagues must demonstrate that they have applied an
investment of lime or effort in the fundraising actNty. and be abk to provide ewdenee of the money they have raised
their chosen tharily.
Morrisons col￿agueS can make appI￿at￿)nS on1M￿ for a maxmnum discretionary amount of £5,000 per request, up lo
twice each financial year. The Trustees have ddegat&J the authorty lo approve maleh funding apPI￿allOnS lo The
Morrisons Foundatiors specialist ￿spons￿le for managing activilw on a day to day basis.

The Morrisons Foundation's grant prc#3rarnr* is deshjned to SUPFrfYt charity w4ects that m*e a positive difference in
local communities across England, Scotland and Wale$. Grant furKling is available foi charities that are fegistered with
the Charity Commission or th8 Office of the Scotti8h Charity Reguktor.
The Morrisons Foundation's grant making policy e￿sts to ensur& that The Morrisons Foundation benefiis the public and
?ppIEs ils lunding fair￿ and consistentw. The Trustees confimi thal they have referred lo the guidance contained in the

Fundraising
The Morrisons FoLtndation d¢Jes not seek to raise money from the pU￿1C through fundraising appeals. If funds are
received into the Morr¥son5 Foundation in relation lo a fundraising campaign of Wm Morrison Supermarkets Limited.
The Morrisons Foundation will ensure that the carnpa￿n has t*en approved by the trustees in advance and that funds
are spent for the purposes for which they have been raised.
The Morrisons Foundation is not alvare ol any complaints Telatwrfj to such fundraising. bul rt wth*s Close￿ with Wm
Moirison Supermarkets Limited to ensure the ¢￿p1K8￿Ce with chaiity law al￿ lo ensure any fuThJraising confomis to
recognised standards. Should any such complaints ever arise, the Chairman would raise them wrth the Trustees. The
Moirison5 Foundation and Wm MorTison Supermarkets Limrted are aware ot the importance of Pfotecting the public,
including vulnerable people. from unreasonabty intrusive or ￿r$1stent fundraising approaches or undue pressure to
d￿ale and th¢ nalufo of the way in which fuThJ$ are rai8ed means that the iisks of abuse are inherenlty low.
Plans for future periods
The Trustees are committed lo ensuring that The Moni8ons Foundation continues the activrties outlined above in the
forthcoming period subject lo sab"sfactory fund￿9 arrarwJements.
Investment
The Trustees have WFde p￿erS of investment. However. rt ts the IntentK￿ that all funds received by The M0rri50ns
Foundation will be applied ether in the makin9 of donatb)n$ In accordance wilh the match funding programme or grant
PTogramme, or the payment of adminislr*ion expenses whKh will not exceed 30A of tncome in any financial year.
Pending such applicalDn, funds are held in an account with The Mom"sons Foundalior>'5 bank. In the scenario where
this amount exceeds the necessary bal￿￿ lo ensure all usual streams be funded. the excess is transferred to

The Morrisons Foundation wa5 incorporated as a private Charitab￿ company limrted by guarantee on 26 June 2014 and
was regislered with the Charty Commission on 29 January 2015 in EThJiand and Wales. The Morrisons Foundatif)n was
also registered with The Office of the Scottish Charity ReguFalor cfft 22 May 2015.
The Directors are Trustees for the purFJoses of charity la•V and in thi5 report are ￿llectIvety referred to as the Truslees.
Responsibility for The Morrisons FouThJation's direction and affairs lies with the Trustees. The artides of association of
The Morrisons FourKlalion regulale how the Trustees meet and make decisions for The Morrisons Foundation. The
articles of associatDn prowde that there rnust be no fw than th￿e nor more than ten Trustees, and that at least tsvo
of the Trustees must neither be directors nor empknyees of MOM￿nS nor a relative of any such director or empb)yee.
The power of appointment or removal of Trustees t￿¥ wrth the Trustees. Trustees are elected to $eNe for maximum
period of three yeats.. independent Trustees are reslricted lo a ts¥o year period. Tru51ees may be re-elected after this
