The year 2023 has been another year of growth and excitement in which Watton Pentecostal Church was renamed Home Church Watton. We believe that 2024 offers an opportunity to forge new relationships and to work with likeminded organisations nationally and internationally, while seeking to support and serve the local community.
1. Home Church Working in partnership for the community
Home Church continues to seek to work in partnership with other groups to offer a valued service to the community in areas where the church doesn't have the expertise to make such a provision. Working in partnership means that we offer the building free of charge, volunteers to open up and offer help by providing refreshments etc. We currently work with Diabetes Watton and District Support Group.
Home Church will continue to serve the town of Watton by offering a warm and secure venue for other organisations to provide a service to the town. This is a worthwhile and successful way of the church meeting its obligation of servanthood in the town.

2. Home Church Friendship Club
In 2023 the Friendship club has been meeting weekly in the church, offering support and a friendly place for people to meet. This has been especially needed, providing a safe and welcoming space for people to come together.
3. Arise Women's Ministry
Arise was able to hold both the weekend conference and a Refreshment Day this year. It was really good to meet together after the last couple of years of not being able to host the conference. We have seen women from other churches come together and be able to worship God together. The Arise team are busy planning for next year, with two refreshment days planned.
4. The Big House Baby and Toddler Group
It has been really good to reopen this group this year and it has been well received with the number of parents and children coming growing. We look forward to the group going from strength to strength.
5. Worship Team
The worship team has done an amazing job of continuing to grow and provide worship during Sunday mornings. The services have been broadcast on social media for those unable to attend the services and the worship team have been a vital part of continuing to connect with those who are unable to attend church.
6. Visitation team
As the church has opened on a Sunday morning, a warm and friendly welcome has been given to everyone by the welcomers in the foyer.
7. The Forge
This year we have continued the Men’s Ministry that meets together for breakfast, fellowship and teaching. The men have enjoyed guest speakers as well as speakers from the church. The Forge will continue to meet in 2024 and offer a place for men to come together and worship God.
