Section D Achievements and erformance p

Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year

The primary source of regular income is the sale of wristbands at both the Gauntlet Birds of Prey centres – Knutsford and in Knowsley Safari Park. Income from this source was up slightly on last year.

This year, we were fortunate to receive a large legacy donation which enabled us to support a major project at Vulpro in South Africa. The charity also received donations from supporters and organised a successful fundraising event, meaning that the charity has still been able to effect significant grants.

Money has again primarily been targeted to vulture conservation in South Africa through the provision of “poison kits” and the support of volunteers at Vulpro – the SA vulture charity.
