Our largest growth thls year has been wlthln th¢ •dult bands. Th•re are two ￿ndS in Brl8hton for adults and three at AngmeTlw. p￿re$S betwe•n the different bands has been encouraged with several of the beginne￿ band havin8 moved to the Intsrmedlate band and some of the intermedtyt¢ play¢fS th• communlty b•nd. The Communlty band w•re once agaln inwted to pl•y at the s￿nal• carni￿1, whkh was very suc¢e5sful and l•d to further bL)kings. All the Su55ex Steel b•nds played at the Clwlstms event held at • loal Church. A successfvl fund rnising sponsored walk was ¢x8anlsed goiw from Brighton to Littlehampton with the pro¢eeds goin¢ to¥vards new equlprneDt Members of the Community band have succcessfvlly arrKvaed a plece of musk for the band to plav. We wll continue to work with schools and the cofflmunlty, wovlding free access to stéelpans where nec¢ssary. The Community &nd wlll play again overtvM doys at the Sw•we CarnwallRegatta.
