In summary our charitable objects are:
O Promote and support the ad￿en￿rnent of education in The Gambia
O Advance the education of the UK public in Issues facing those in The Gambia
rf Prevent and relieve poverty in The Gambia
2. Activities
This year we have taken 3 school trips outto The Gambia, in addition to which ongoing projects
included:
> Schools feeding programme
> Let's see red {period poverty)
> Projert Gambla shop
> Container full of donated goods sent out
> Work in varlous schools including sponsored children, buildirvd new classrooms and
refurbishment of classrooms
> Training of teachers in phonics, numeracy, assessment and reporting
> Setting up a Junior Leadership Programme
> Support for new businesses
> Establishment of a new school
