## Avon Vale Tennis and Croquet Club

## Annual Report 2021-22

With Covid restrictions being eased we had a normal year with record membership and social activities resuming. Junior coaching also resumed with our many teams enjoying success in the local leagues.

We received a grant from the Postcode Local Trust towards our planned changing rooms, and work on these, together with the installation of electricity and a new external roof began in the autumn and was completed before the beginning of the new season. We received further donations from members amounting to over £7,000 towards these improvements.

Despite the expenditure on the club house we ended the year with a healthy bank balance though this is mostly earmarked for the completion of the improvement project and more fund raising will be required in the future. We hope to hire out our improved facilities to the local community and use the income to further the club’s charitable ourposes.
