## Battle of Worcester Society Charity 

## Hon. Secretary’s Report for year ending 31[st] December 2020 

Last AGM held 26/02/2020 at The Hive, Worcester. 

Trustees for the year Richard Shaw (Chair), Christine Shaw (Mem Sec.), Geoff Yapp (Hon. Treasurer), Guy Little (Hon. Secretary), Howard Robinson (HR), Roger Knight (RK), Daniel Daniels (Deputy Chair), Ben Humphrey (President), Roger Fairman, Grant Simmonds. Trustees have not met this year due to Covid-19 restrictions. 

Note that RK and HR were appointed Trustees at the AGM on 26/02/2020. 

Andy Roberts is in the process of being appointed Trustee. 

That leaves us with a vacancy as we can have up to a maximum of twelve Trustees. 

Executive Committee has met virtually: RS, CS, GL, GY, RF, Brian Bullock, DD, Tim Young, Ken Potts, Robbie Porter. 

Three Trustees are required to stand down under the constitution. These are Geoff Yapp, Daniel Daniels and Guy Little. All 3 confirm their willingness to stand again. They will be formally voted back in when we are able to reconvene. 

The Trustees were consulted and were in favour of changing in Monument option from Adams & Jefferson to the Gates. 

I confirm that the Charity has operated within its constitution as a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO) and has filed all necessary reports to the Charity Commission. 

The Charity has renewed its annual Public Liability and Trustees Indemnity Insurance.

I can confirm that the annual income for Calendar year 2020, for the battle of Worcester Society was £2,104.80. 

The income was £3,057.67 and the expenses were £952.87. 

The income from subscriptions and lottery grants continued at near normal levels during 2020, but events and activities were very limited due to COVID restrictions, hence the unusual increase in Society funds during this period. 

Further details of the transactions that resulted in these figures are in the annual Treasurers report which is attached.
