Chairman’s Forward

A very difficult year for me personally with being diagnosed with Myeloma and dealing with the impact this has had on me and my family. Thankfully progress is being made and have really appreciated the support from our charity trustee team.

With all the personnel challenges being managed, and with the lower end of the budget to conduct another housing and water project in Malawi, we have collectively decided to plan for the summer of 2025. Aiming again to help the most needy in Malawi with housing and clean water, working with our volunteers here in the UK and in Malawi. Hoping for a better 2025.

Trustee’s Report

Children of Adam Appeal was entered into the Charity Commission’s Register of Charities on 16 January 2015.

Following our assessment in August 2015 and the guidance given by the Charity Commission, we continue to develop and adapted to comply with accordance to our governing document.

The board collectively we would like to send their gratitude and appreciations to all of our volunteers who continually help with donations and spreading the planned project information and updates.

We welcome new volunteers, who can offer their experiences, ideas, passion to help grow this organisation and still maintaining our salary free policy.

Children of Adam Appeal is governed by the organisation's policies and procedures ( available for reference in the COAA file stored in the office)

Vision

To provide relief, aid and assistance to people affected by famine, drought, flood or any other calamity/disadvantage and poverty (in particular widows and orphans, elderly and disabled) anywhere in the world irrespective of race, colour, creed or religion.

Mission

Our mission is to establish a healthy, accountable and effective charity organisation driven by our volunteering ethos with minimal overheads.

Volunteers and new Members

Membership has not increased, and we maintain 3 UK based volunteers to our register.

Activities

No activities during this year period – 11/23 to 11/24.

Website and Social Media

Our Website, YouTube channel and Facebook page are continuously updated with our deployment information, videos and pictures which allows the public to review where the funds have been used and how the organisation is helping the needy with food, water, clothing and housing.

Finance Report

Unfortunately, with the setback we had with our chairman, and planning having to be deferred to 2025 for another housing and water project in Malawi things have been steady away in 2024. We continue to receive a health influx of donations online, via bank transfers and the monthly standing order we receive, and are very appreciative to our donator for their continues support and prays. Let’s bring o n2025 and strive to help the most needy.
