**Objects:** THE PROMOTION OF AGRICULTURE FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT BY THE ENCOURAGEMENT, PROMOTION AND IMPROVEMENT OF THE WELSH BLACK CATTLE AND THE MAINTENANCE OF THE PURITY OF THE BREED.

**Activities:** The Society exists to promote and maintain the purity of the breed, which is Wales' only native breed of cattle, and to produce a Herd Book for the traceability of cattle registered during the year.
