Para 1.17 and

The Old School Room Haworth is available
to hire to any one or organisation wishing
to host an event which is legal and unlikely
to cause offence.
The Old School Room has been well used at
the weekends and a growing number
during the week. Many people are booking
for the following year. We now have a
policy of only taking bookings two years in
advance.
2023 was a most significant year for us, we
finally managed to have the main roof of
the 1832 Old School Room
restored/repaired, we have been working
towards this since 2012.The local
conservation officer is pleased with the
result saying it is a fine example of stone
slate roofing, very tidy coursing and
consistent thickness. The interior is
improved by the insulation and the
revealing of the beams. Our thanks go to
the Keighley Towns Fund, the Pilgrim Trust
and the Burnard Sunley Foundation for
their grants.
The Trustees have worked hard to see this
through showing amazing patience through
the many disappointments in grant finding.

We continue have the Bronte Society as a tenant in the top rooms with their own access. Statement confirming Para 1.18 The trustees have regard to the guidance whether the trustees have issued by the Charity Commission on public had regard to the guidance benefit. issued by the Charity Commission on public benefit
