The Old School Room Haworth is available
to hire to any one or organisation wishing
to host an event which is legal and unlikely
to cause offence.
The Old School Room has been well used at
the weekends. Many people are booking
for the following year.
We replaced the dishwasher with help
from a grant from the Craven Trust.
The Keighley Towns Fund grant scheme has
progressed more quickly and finally we
were told we had been successful with our
application and will receive the full grant.
This along with the promised grants from
Pilgrim Trust and The Bernard Sunley
Foundation will enable us to proceed with
the roof project.
The Tender for the roof repair/restoration
of the 1832 section of The Old School
Room was sent out in October and the
planned work is expected to start in March
2023.
The Trustees are pleased with this outcome
after many years of seeking grant funding.
The management of the building is run by
the trustees who have also worked on
small improvements.
