Our projects for the year 202ty2025 have continued suc￿sSfUllY in countrie5 efferted by the refugee

With the help of our partners. we started new projects in East Africa. We distributed Aid in Tan2ania
& Ethiopia successfully and alm to tontinue dependlng on funds. Our work brought rellef to thousands
of families. Our team also continued their work in many diffeTent states of India. Tru$tees also
travelled to India to check and verify existlng projects and also plan new prolects for the next few
years.
As reported in last yearfs statement regarding our Housing Project and Girls school building, we are
pleased to reportthat we have made significant progress towards our housing project with all planning
and bullding permissions for the first 24 homes being granted by national and local government
departments. Our building program for the first 24 homes started at the end of December. We are
also hoping to start buildlng work for the next 24 homes soon dependlng on flnal plannlnB permlsslon
for the next 24 homes, Bringing the total Startups to 48 homes.
Alhamdulillah, the glrls school building projert is now 70% complete. We are hoplng to complete the
girls school buildin8 work by March 2025.
Our Orphan5 Umrah program continues. and again thisyear we sponsored over50 orphans to perform

Flnanclal revlew
ReseNes and financial performance
The charity raised over £800,000 in donations and has distributed over £680,O¢XI to worthy causes
for this financial year.
The charity has sufflcient reserves to cover expenses for more than 18 months In Ilne with our
reseNes policv.
The charity will always look to minimized overheads and will continue to monitor costs and funds to
have 5uffitlent funds In all areas to continue our work.
The charl￿S funds and donatlons have increased in line with expectations. In the event of reserves
falling significantly below the target level, we will aim to restore the reserves as soon as possible by
Increasing fundralsln& Increa51ng sponsors and other means where pos51ble Including reducin8
expendlture. Simllarly, if reserves are significantly above the target level, the charlty will put in place
a plan as soon as possible, aiming to eliminate the excess within two years by spending on new
projects and Increase provisions for poor families in need. The trustees will not, however, take any
steps that might call into question the abilityof the charity to continue as a financially viable operation
In the long term.
On behalf ol all the trustees at Frlends For You, we would Ilke to slncerely thank all our donors and
5UPPOrters over the years fortheirfantartlc support. We extend ourthanks to our hardworkin8 Staff

Ban&adesh for maklng our refugee projects posslble. Without our teams and partners around the

Significant activities
We continue our work for many projects desplte the challenges we face durlng ongoing and new
conflicts in many countries around the world. In 2024125, we have again been impacted by inflation
such as material and labour costs to name a few. The continued currency volatility, and difficulties in
supply of material due to the continued conflict in Ukraine and new conflicts In the middle east and
elsewhere carries on. Despite these challenges, we have overcome these issues and Still contlnue wlth
all our projects.
Food Aid - Friends For You managed to deliver nearly 8000 food parcels and over 25,000 hot meals
successfully to many countries Including Turkey, Jordan, Bangladesh, Tanzania, Ethlopla, where
thousands of families suffer due to lack of food and other essentials that we take for granted. We also
distributed food parcels and hot meals to many poverty-strlcken areas of India, in the states of
Mahara5htra, Delhi, U.P, and Bihar. Together, we distributed enough food parcels to produce nearly
one million hot meals in 2024125.
Water Ald
Hand pumps- Many hundreds of families can now have access to water all year round. thanks to our
water projects for 2024125. Over 130 hand pumps were provided whlch can be accessed by over a
thousand tsmllbes who otherwise would have little or no access to water. This facility will last for many
years to come, generating Duas and S?daqa e Jariyah to all those who donated.
Bore Well
Many bore wells were Instslled In different parts of small and large villa8e5 in many parts of Indla. A
single bore well can pump enough water to supply a small village with daily water for up to 2tX)+
families. This facility can also provlde local mosques and community centres for thelr water needs.
Again. this facility will last for many years to come, generating Duas and Sadaqa e Jariyah to all those
who donated.
Medlcal Ald- Millions of families suffer in silence because they have no access to medical funds and
tacilities. We do our absolute best to provide as much help as possible. However, due to lack of funds,
many thousands contlnue to suffer in silence. Last year we helped provide vital lrfesaving operations
to young and old. This has made a massive impact on improving their quality of lrfe.
Chlld Sponsorlsupport - Ill 2024 we have registered 130 chlldren back into school. Children need
their education for their fvture. We will continue to expand our education program depending on
funds raised.
We thank all our chlld sponsors who contlnued their child sponsors and those donors who helped
maintain the school.
Commufilty Ald-we tt*ntinued throughout 2024 helplng communlties meet thelr everyday needs by
providing a safe place for congregation by repairin& improvin& or extending buildings with facilities
to meet the needs ofthe communltv.
Refugees around the worfd We have continued our international duties for our work in the refugee
camps in Jordan, Turkey, Bangladesh for the Syrian, Palestinian and Rohingya refugees in 2024 ind
dlstributed ald worth nearly £IOO,00. We have plans for further trlps in 2025 to distribute more ald to
