**Objects:** THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE IN THE APPRECIATION AND PRACTICE OF THE ARTS, ESPECIALLY CLASSICAL AND TRADITIONAL MUSIC, AND IN SO DOING:A) TO ENCOURAGE AND NURTURE AN INTEREST IN CLASSICAL AND TRADITIONAL MUSIC AMONGST CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE FROM ALL BACKGROUNDS;B) TO ADVANCE CONCENTRATION AND THINKING SKILLS AMONGST CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE, AND TO ENHANCE THEIR EMOTIONAL SENSITIVITY THROUGH ENGAGEMENT IN MUSIC-RELATED ACTIVITY.

**Activities:** Interactive concerts in Primary School (Islington) to foster children's active listening skills.  The chamber musicians we work with are all students or recent graduates from London?s music conservatoires.
