In setting objectives and planning for activities the Trustees have given
due regard to the general guidance published by the Charity Commission
in connection with public benefft.
Public benefrt has been achieved by ensuring that the use of the fvnds
given has been publicised - both in the range of types of animal helped
and the way that their welfare has been ￿rthered.
The events that we have attended have also been opportunities to
educate the public about animal welfare, the need to challenge animal
cruelty. and how animals are best cared for.

activities undertaken for the

these objects {include within

Achievements and performance
Summary ofthe main
achievements of the charity
during the year
Achievements in 2024.
Our activities in 2024 have been restricted because of health issues.
However, we have been able to raise significant fvnds, which has
enabled us to continue to allocate grants to qualifying organisations.
We have been the beneficiary of a very generous contribution from one
of our supporters for which we are very grateful. We have also received a
steady flow of contributions from another supporter. which again has
been very much appreciated.
A total of £20152 was raised in 2024. Many thanks are due to those who
have donated. the trustees and to our supporters for their continued hard
work and commitment.
We Continue to evaluate grant applications twice a year, and we have
also considered applications which have had a time urgency about them.
As a result, we have made 9 grants totalling £10797 in 2024. 6 grants
(£5500) were to UK organisations and 3 grants {£5297) were to a UK
based organisation whose operations are outside the UK.
It has been very encouraging to hear how the organisations have used
the grants to further animal welfare and provide public benefit in doing so.
The trustees have had due regard to the guidance on public benefit given
in the Charities Act and the Charitie5 (Accounts and Reports)
Regulations 2008 when planning and executing each event.
Plans for 2025.
We wll continue to work closely with the organisations that we support.
However, the health issues currently being suffered will affert what we
can achieve wilh the charity Our cu￿ent plan for 2025 is to support
organisations when they have a specific time related need for funds. We
will Continue to use due diligen￿ in these situations and will ensure that
our procedures are followed in all cases.
