SORP reference<br>There has been no need to amend the Grant<br>Para 1.38  Giving Policy which remains in place as<br>Policy on grant making  follows:<br>Priorities for support<br>The number of individuals and groups which<br>can be supported is, of necessity, limited to<br>the amount of funds available for distribution<br>in any year. The Trustees have determined<br>that the priorities for funding over the next<br>years will be:<br>• Schools serving socially deprived<br>communities (Informed by school %FSM &<br>WIMD).<br>• Assisting children and young people in<br>attending centre for whom the charges may<br>be prohibitive.<br>Principles<br>• Grants are given in the form of subsidies to<br>groups on the fees charged by Storey Arms.<br>• Only groups of young people from Cardiff<br>or the Vale of Glamorgan are eligible for<br>subsidies.<br>• Maximum amount for any one individual is<br>the full course fee.<br>Grant application process<br>• Subsidies are offered at the point of<br>enquiry about a booking, through discussion<br>with the Head of Centre.<br>• Where a subsidy is granted the booking<br>letter has the statement “with support from<br>the Friends of Storey Arms” included in it.<br>• The trustees are happy to receive requests<br>in writing.<br>Policy on social investment  Para 1.38<br>including program related<br>investment<br>Our fundraising work has not recovered<br>Para 1.38  following the Covid pandemic. ## **Financial Review**

Review of the charity’s  Para 1.21  With the lack of available time for Trustees<br>financial position at the end  and previous volunteers to put towards<br>of the period  fundraising, there has been no additional<br>income this year.<br>Income was therefore limited to membership<br>(plus associated Gift Aid) and the sale of<br>neck scarves.<br>Due to some staffing changes at the Centre<br>and personal issues for the Honorary<br>Treasurer, the money taken for the neck<br>scarves was not banked until after the<br>financial year end.
