Birn]ingham Zion Church of the Nazarene Board of Trustees has the responsibility of
working with the Pastor Jacqueline Joseph to alvance the Christian Faith as part of
the International and UK Church of the Nazarene. in woM0￿g the wlM)le mi&si
of the Church in HandsWOrt￿ Birniinglwm.
Ob'ectives and Activities
The Trustees have the wimaTr." objectii"e of enabling &s pwile p)ssible to
have access to the teaching and practice of the Christian Faith and to be strengthened
in their faith with acts of worship. praver. fellowship and ￿ of the scriptures- The
facilities to allo￿. e*er)'one to fellowship togethff built up in their Christian
Faith.
The benefit of the local communitv is always a consideration for the Tn￿ Ixith
thr￿ church ministry" and making the church building available to local agencies
are seeking ts) I￿efit the IqKal cixnmunit!: such as the NIIS and allowing other
churches to rent the building for their meetings.

Financial Review
Total receipts to unrestricted fimds were £41J(K). ￿6.016 of this was from fithes
and Offerings. £1 u l8 receiNed restricted fillmls as detsiled in the financial
statements.
£37.068 was spent to provide the Christian ministy from Birn]ingham Zion Church
of the llNazarene.
The net result for this ￿lIX1 w7s an excess of receipts oi'er paTrrynents of £5550.
Unrestricted fund balance carried forward on September 3￿ was £9,890 and -£859 in
restricted funds.
Reserv￿ w)lio;
The Trustees w)licy is to ma1[￿ a bala￿e of £10.(￿ on Unre&￿ fimds (if
possible) for contingencies. The unrestricted fund balance was £9.890 on September
30th ?0?4. We intend to restore these reserves as activitv hopefully increases in ?0?3 -
