fi)r the publlc benefit the mental. emotlonal, splrltual and physlcal heakh of persons
resident in Dorset and (at the dlscretSon of the Charity Trustees) other countie5 by provldSng
psychotherapy and counsellln8 and by such other meaDS as the Charlty Trustees may from
tlme to time dedde Indudin8 superrflslon and tralning.
Athlwem•nts and perfom
The counsellln8 team was joined by a placement tralnee between September 2023 and
January 2024. The tearn of 3 12023.2) counsellors delivered 120 12023: 2561 counsellln8
hours 47% compared to the year endin8 In 20231 helplng 1412023.131 individuals and I
{2023:31 couplelsl. The team continue to counsel nationally. remotely, online from
counsellors, homes as well as face to face locallv.
Flnanclal Revlew
The flnancial Statements are exempt from the audit requirements of Sectlon 144{21 Charltles
Act 2011 but have been subjected to an Independent Examination.
In the year under review the charity generated income from counselling of £S.483 {2023:
£10.4031153% compared to the year ending in 20231 at a cost of £5,93912023- £11,729)
(51% compared to the year endin8 in 20231. The charlty also reoi¥ed donations of £724
{2023: £8161 Includlng related Income tax recoverable.
