To advance the education of children and young people in Haringey and
the surrounding boroughs in London. Education is focussed on Turkish
and English language. culture and traditions all tsught in ac£ordance with
British values.

The charity carries out a wide range of activities in pursuance of its
charitable aims and objectives. The trustees consider that the activities,
summarised below. provide benefit to both those who use our community
centre and the wider Gommunity in Haringey and neighbouring boroughs.
Communlty Actlvllies:
Our ￿Mmunity centre hall and rooms provide a valuable educational and
recreational resource to all in our local community. A wide range of
activities are organised and take place in our community Lkgntre.

The charity organises regular sp)rt activities to help keep children
attending the centre fil and healthy.
Supplomontary school:
Supplementary school and homework support.. al weekends and during
school holidays a supervised homework club is provided lo children.
Lessons are also given for Turkish language and culture to allow the
children and adults who wish to advance their knowledge and
understanding.
Feles:
Throughout the year the centre showcases th8 Turkish Cuisine including
pastries, cakes, kebabs and other local dishes from all around Turkey.
These events are open to the public and all proceeds are used for
charitable activities. Feeding the ￿mmunity. For one month of ea¢h year
we provide free food to our local community in our centre. This
strengthens the community ties and allows our local community to have a
laste of our Turkish hospitality- Local councillors and MPS are also invited
lo these events which allow the public to meet and ask them questions.

mission in Haringey and neighboring boroughs. One key accomplishment
has been the launch of after-school lessons for local children, bolstering
their academic and personal growth.
Additionally, our commitment to community centrality remains
unwavering, particulady in our support for eldedy citizens. By providing a
range of programs and initiatives, we've continued to Greate a welcoming
Spa￿ for seniors to connect. access resources, and combat social
isolation.
Moreover. our iconic food feles have continued lo serve as vibrant
community gatherings. These events not only offer delicious cuisine but
also foster camaraderie, cultural exchange. and social bonds among
resKlents.
In essence. our charitys impact transcends individual beneficiaries,
enriching the broader societal fabric. Through our initiatives. we've
empowered children, supported the eldedy. and fostered community
cohesion. As we reflect on our achievements. we're driven lo further our
Frt)sitive influence on those we serrfe and the wider community.

||I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above<br>charity (“the Trust”) for the year ended 31/05/2023.<br>As the charity's trustees, you are responsible for the preparation of the<br>accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (“the<br>Act”).|||



I report in respect of my examination of the Trust’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act. 

**Independent examiner's** I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have **statement** come to my attention in connection with the examination which gives me cause to believe that in, any material respect: 

- the accounting records were not kept in accordance with section 130 of the Charities Act; or 

- the accounts did not accord with the accounting records; or 

- the accounts did not comply with the applicable requirements concerning the form and content of accounts set out in the Charities (Accounts and Reports) Regulations 2008 other than any requirement that the accounts give a ‘true and fair’ view which is not a matter considered as part of an independent examination. 

I have no concerns and have come across no other matters in connection with the examination to which attention should be drawn in this report in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
