Activities and Trust Status

The College returned to site following the COVID-19 Pandemic 2020 offsite working and restrictions. However, to ensure a safe return to site many activities were still restricted including the Breakfast club and Indigo shop. Enterprise ideas have been re-formulated though for the current academic year 2020/23. The Indigo shop idea has been expanded in to a street market with two other pop-up facilities to facilitate all three pathways. FOHC welcome the opportunity to use some of the Indigo Shop funds to promote this enterprise.

The coffee machine was purchased (from restricted reserves) was delayed due to the pandemic but it is now installed and was made ready for the Spring term 2022 and is a key component of the student run café by the Hospitality programme.

Trustee Membership

Deb Reynolds was be removed from the Charity Commission register.

Jayne Taylor-Farren will be removed from the Charity Commission register as she has resigned her role as Trustee.

Paul Cook has joined the Charity as a Trustee.

Other persons are being canvassed to join as trustees.

Plans

The objectives of the Charity remain to assist the advancement of education by provision of assistance and benefit for the students of Hereward College and for such charitable purposes that are connected with or support the College.

The trustees have identified the following objectives:
