The financial statements have been prepared on the accounting policies set out on page 9. comply with the
constitution. applicable law and applicable accounting standards.
Objeetsy principal activities of the Charity
British Albanian Muslim Community is constituted as an unincorporated charity and it is registered with
the Charity Commission on 29 December 2014.
The objects of the charity are:
(l ) to advance the islamic religion and to advance educaiion in Jslam, in particular but not exclusively
through, the holding of prayer meetings, lectures, public celebration of religious festivals to enlighten
others aboul the islamic religion.
(2) the promotion of religious hannony for the benefit of the public by".
(a) educating the public in different religious beliefs including an awareness of their distinctive features
and their common ground to promote good relations between persons of different faiths.
(b) promoting knowledge and mutual underslanding and respect of the beliefs and practices of different
religious faiths.
Operational and financial review
The charity made a net surplus of £23,248.00 Income receivable during the year amounted to £50096.17
Trustees
Trustees, who served during the year, are set out on page 3.
The trustees are elected at the Annual General Meeting, and serve until the end of the next Annual General
Meeting, where they can stand for re-election.
Statement of Trustees, Responsibilitie5
The Charities Act requires the trustees to prepare financial statements for each financial year, which give a
true and fair view of the state of affairs of the charity at the end of the year and of the incoming and
In preparing those financial statements, the trustees are required to select suitable accounting
policies and then apply them consistently, making judgements and estimates that are reasonable and
prudent. The Trustees must also prepare the financial statements on the going concern basis unless it is
inappropriate to presume that the charity will continue its activities.
The trustees are responsible for keeping proper accounting records. which disclose with
reasonable accuracy at any time the financial position of the charity and enable them to ensure that the
financial statements comply with applicable law, regulations with the Charities Act 1993. They ar¢ also
responsible for safeguarding the assets of the charity and hence for taking reasonable steps for the

TO THE TRUSTEES OF BIUTISH ALBANIAN MUSLIM COMMUNITY
I report on the accounts of British Albanian Muslim Con]munity for the year ended 31 March 2024,
which are set out on pages 7 to 9.
Respective Responsibilities of Trustees and Examiners
As the Charity's Management Committee you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts; you consider that
an audit is not required for the year (under section 43(2) of the Act) and that an independent examination is
required. It is tny responsibility to state, on the basis of procedures specified in the General Directions given by the
Charity Commissioners under section 43(7)(b) of the Act. whether particular matters have come to my attention.
Basis of Independent Examiner's Report
M}, examination was carried out in accordance with the General Directions given by the Charity Commissioners.
An examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the charity and a comparison of the accounts
presented with those records. It also includes consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts, and
seeking explanations from you as trustees concerning any such matters. The procedures undertaken do not provide
all the evidence that would be required in an audit, and consequently I do not express an audit opinion on the view
