Activities

Women's Centre in Birmingham working to a 'one stop shop' approach. We support some of the most vulnerable &/or chaotic women who attend voluntarily or as part of their community sentences as alternatives to custody. We employ one-to-one interventions, counselling, a wide range of courses & specialised support services:Money Advice, Family Services and the IDVA service.

Objects: The Objects Of The Charity (The Objects) Are, For The Public Benefit, The Promotion Of Social Inclusion By Preventing Vulnerable Women And Members Of Their Families From Being Socially Excluded, Relieving The Needs Of Such People Who Are Socially Excluded And Assisting Them To Integrate Into Society By All Means That Are Charitable In Law.socially Excluded Means Being Excluded From Society, Or Parts Of Society, As A Result Of One Or More Of The Following Factors: Unemployment; Financial Hardship; Youth Or Old Age; Ill Health (Physical Or Mental); Substance Abuse Or Dependency Including Alcohol And Drugs; Discrimination On The Grounds Of Sex, Race, Disability, Ethnic Origin, Religion, Belief, Creed, Sexual Orientation Or Gender Re-Assignment; Poor Educational Or Skills Attainment; Relationship And Family Breakdown; Poor Housing (That Is Housing That Does Not Meet Basic Habitable Standards); Crime (Either As A Victim Of Crime Or As An Offender); Andvulnerable Women Means Women Who Have Been, Or Are At Risk Of Being, Physically, Sexually, Emotionally Or Psychologically Abused Or Experienced Homelessness, Mental, Physical Health Or Substance Misuse Problems Or Involved In Prostitution.
