Section D- Achieveme and erformance Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year Unfortunately. we had a very disappointing year and were unable to raise sufficient funds to deliver all the programmes that we wished to do. In accordance with our rese￿e5 policy Ibelowl, in September the trustees took the difficult decision to wind down the programme activities of the charity and to make the team redundant in an orderly fashion. Going forward we will be focussed on Hatt￿s Fund only, administered by the trustees directly, with no paid employees. In summary: We secured c. £92k of funding. compared to £196k in 2024 We ran the School Ground Sound5 programme in ljvo schoo15 throughout the whole year We ran the Bridge programme at the start ofthe summer holidays We completed the EP Accelerator programme for two early-career artists ThrouEh Hattws Fund, we delivered 8 musical instruments for young people and also funded 10 piano lessons In total we had over 80 young people participating in SGS activities At the end of the year Charles Scott took over as chairman of the trustees and each of Tom Keohane, Stephen Cartwright and Cri5tina Barone retired as trustees. We thank them. along with Sharon Noble, our Managing Director up to October, for their considerable efforts in steering the charity through a difficult period. WÈ enter 2026 with remaining funds of £18,896.

Sertion E- Financial Review Brief ststement of the charitys policy on rese￿e$ SGS. aim is to build and maintain a level of reserves that will cover at least 4- 6 months, forward committed expenditure. We will never let the level of reserves drop below 3 months of forward committed expenditure. Income for the year was £92,093 and total expenses were £153.568, so the deficit fi)r the year was £61,474, funded from reserves. As explained above we had to wind down our activities so that we remained solvent and conforwned with our reserves policy. Closing cash funds were £18,896. I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above charity (“the Trust”) for the year ended 31 December 2025 .

Responsibilities and As the charity's trustees, you are responsible for the preparation of the basis of report accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (“the Act”).

I report in respect of my examination of the Trust’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.

Independent I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have examiner's statement come to my attention in connection with the examination gives me cause to believe that in, any material respect:

• the accounting records were not kept in accordance with section 130 of the Charities Act; or

• the accounts did not accord with the accounting records; or

• the accounts did not comply with the applicable requirements concerning the form and content of accounts set out in the Charities (Accounts and Reports) Regulations 2008 other than any requirement that the accounts give a ‘true and fair’ view which is not a matter considered as part of an independent examination.

I have no concerns and have come across no other matters in connection with the examination to which attention should be drawn in this report in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
