| For | the public benefit, SWATS aims to develop educated, healthy young people |
| who are better able to find and maintain employment and thus contribute to | |
| their community. In Sierra Leone one person in employment often supports | |
| multiple members of their extended family. Thus by increasing the educational | |
| attainment and employment potential of individuals within the community, the | |
| benefits will be spread widely across the community. | |

Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year
Throughout the year SWATS continued to provide grants that fully funded all running costs of the Evans Primary School. The charity paid for exam fees for a number of students this year and also undertook significant maintenance work, including after a severe storm.
We also arranged a large shipment of school books and uniforms to be delivered from the UK.
The kitchen and water cylinder are still in operation and free lunch is provided to the children each day.
