Section D Achievements and erformance p
Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year
Throughout the year SWATS continued to provide grants that fully funded all running costs of the Evans Primary School.
One of the Trustees visited Sierra Leone this year and met with all of the teachers and pupils. The school is in a good state of repair and children were learning happily. One of the very first pupils has even now returned as a teacher!
We provided funds for maintenance throughout the year, in particular pumping out the toilet and repairing the building where needed.
The kitchen and water cylinder are still in operation and free lunch is provided to the children each day.
