## **Asset Register** 

The Trustees of the Association of Friends of the Church of England Church of St Mary and St Peter Tidenham hold the following property on behalf of the Association: 

## **Land adjacent to the churchyard on the North-Eastern side** 

**Value  £87,912** (purchase price £9000 from Treasury Solicitors, July 2015; development costs 201519, £76,687 and £2,225 in 2021-22 for the final surfacing. The capitalised development costs include all costs incurred in developing the land as a car park after the purchase of the land excepting the initial legal fees of £546 relating to the purchase. This was agreed by the trustees in preparing the 2015-16 accounts. The costs do not include maintenance costs following initial development. ) 

Ownership of this property will be transferred to the Parochial Church Council when its development as a car park for the church has been completed. 

I have prepared these accounts based upon the income and expenditure records I have kept from 1 April 2022 to 31 March 2023. I acknowledge my responsibility for the accounts and for providing Mr Peter Cook with all the information and explanations necessary for their review and audit.

## Dear Professor Duerden, 

I have completed my examination of the accounts for the Friends of St Mary and St Peter, Tidenham and I confirm that no matters have come to my attention in connection with the examination giving me cause to believe that in any material respect: 

- 1 accounting records were not kept in respect of the trust as required by section 130 of the 2011 Act; or 

- 2 the financial statements do not accord with those records; or 

- 3 the financial statements do not comply with the applicable requirements concerning the form and content of accounts set out in the Charities (Accounts & Reports) Regulations 2008 other than any requirement that the accounts give a true and fair view which is not a matter considered as part of an independent examination. 

I have no concerns and have come across no other matters in connection with the examination to which attention should be drawn in this report in order to enable a proper understanding of the financial statements to be reached.
