||||the local community<br>and beyond and is sadly missed. The trustees are akro|
||||grateful for the valuable<br>contrlbubons<br>made by Nick Howe, another ofthe|
||||original trustees, who resigned<br>following a move from the village.|
||||In the first complete year since Covid restrtctkes<br>were lilted a full|
||||programme<br>ofsocktl acNvNes took place at the hall with cofkre mornings,|
||||pc@up pub nights, talks, quizzes, and first aid courses all contributing<br>to|
||||sodal life in the village and raising the income necessary to keep the hall|
||||going. Our ever popular mulled wine and cake stall atthe parkth fkework|
||||display also genemtsd<br>R400 for the hall funds.|
||||The refurbishment<br>ofthe toHet was completed<br>during the year and work|
||||commenced<br>on adecking project which<br>will considerably<br>enhance the|
||||outdoor space. The trustees are particularly<br>grateful to Adrtan Pope for the|
||||Immense<br>efi'ort he has put in to designing<br>and constructing<br>this project, In|
||||an entirely voluntary<br>capacity, and which<br>will be a gmat asset to users of|
||||the hall. Expenditure<br>on these projects during the year totalled R2,965and|
||||has been funded<br>from sbequest received<br>In 2020 which the trustees|
||||retained<br>specNcally<br>to fund improvements<br>to the hall.|
||||The overall deficit forthe year amounted<br>toE1,855,decreasing<br>the cash|
||||balance toR12,692.|
