## **Aims and objectives**

Christian Light Centre, in short " **CLC** ", is a Bristol based, not for-profit organisation, founded in January 2013. People from all walks of life have come together to jointly spread the true Gospel of Jesus Christ, in and from Bristol, across the UK and with the aim to reach the extremities of the earth. Through the true Gospel of Our Lord JESUS CHRIST, they will know and believe how much they are loved by GOD.

## **Summary of the main achievements during the period**

CLC main vision is to bring the Gospel of our Lord JESUS CHRIST to all from Bristol to the extremities of the earth. We are studying, educating and counselling adults, youths and families through bible studies, Prayers and Meetings. People’s lives have been transformed completely, families have been strengthened through the preaching of the Gospel of CHRIST. Also, we give after-class lessons to our children in subjects such as: mathematics, science, information technology, history and geography and current issues

affecting people’s lives (i.e. Brexit, covid-19 with its social and financial implications). Since the beginning of the year 2016 our main priority has been and is to find a building with no access restriction (24/7) during the week for our many activities.

**CL Notes to the C accounts for the year ended** _**Date**_

## **1. Receipts & payments accounts**

Receipts and payments accounts are statements that summarise the movement of

cash into and out of the organisation during the financial year. In this context “cash”

includes cash equivalents, for example, bank accounts where cash can be quickly

withdrawn to pay for debts as they become due.

## **2. Grants & Donations**

We do not receive grants from any government department neither from Bristol City Council. Our main source of income comes from our members’ tithes and offerings.

## **3. Committee members’ remuneration**

None of our committee members (including the **Senior Pastor** ) receive wages a

salary.

## **4. Related party transactions**

Some of the voluntary expenses are really difficult to record in the present financial statement due the fact that the member does not want to be reimbursed for the money spent. The nature of our organisation is to spread the Gospel of our Lord JESUS CHRIST as well as financial help for member if/where possible or needed. Sometimes that may come from any church’s member who does not want to be identified.

We feel the need to emphasise that, our main priority is to have our own or at least lease a building for our activities that why we are saving. Right now where we are, there are so many restrictions which are hindering us.
