1. To advance the Christian faith in accordance with the standards of
Westminster confession of faith and c*echism applicable to the church
fellowship and in other parts of the Unrted Kingdom or the world including

such other purposes which are exclusively charitable according lo th8 law
of England and Wales and are connected with thg charitable work of the

The Whaddon R08d Evangelical Presbyterian Church in Cheltenham is a
group of Christians who are committed to following Jesus Christ.
We ar8 a Bible based church, viewing the Bible as our rule for
what we believe and how we live our lives.
We are an Evangelical church which means we are centred on
the 'Gospel' or'GocMI News, ab￿1 Jesus Christ coming into the
wodd to save people.
We are a Presbyterian church which means we follow an elder-
led form of church govemment and belong to a wider network of
churches.
We are a friendly churth, welcoming anyone who wants to fdlow,
or find out about following Jesus Christ.

durlng the year
Achigvement and Performance
The church meets for the publi¢ worship of God morning and evening on
Sundays, and for Bl￿e Sludy and prayer at the midwegk meeting on
Wednesday. These meetings are mosÉly led by our minisler Rev David
Pfeiffer and Rev Larry Wilkes, and take place at our church premises.
Our normal activities include-.-
Weekly (in term-time) sessions for the Trvhaddon Lights.
children's choir, made up of children from the local area.
Ladies, group5 which involve bible study and refreshments
Bi-weekly "Catalysf meetings for students. 20s and 30s, which
involve food, games, and a time of bible stuty-
Periodic international evenings for international students from the
local universrty
When tho covid restrictions were in place during this period, we adhered
to gov8rnment law.

Brief statement of the
charfty's poli¢y on reserves
Reserve5 pollcy
The accounts show a surplus of £17,373.58. £12,140.02 of this surplus
are funds which belong to a restricled fund for a relaled church body
called Gloucester Evangelical Presbyterian Church for the purpose of a
self-employed minister Rev Timothy Dalton. The fvnds were receiv8d
from Mission to the World. the missionary agenGy of the Presbyterian
Church in America, for that purpose. That leaves an unreslricted surplus
of £5,233.56.
It is likely that this surplus wll be used to SUPPOrt other Charities which
have ob'ecls in line with our own and hel individuals in need.
