raised sufficient funds to cover all the costs
of educating the orphaned children in the
care of the Sisters.
Five orphaned children have attended
school and all their requirements in terms of
uniform, equipment, extra curricular activities
have been met by the charity. Their lives are
thus enriched and they have reason to be
optimistic about their future opportunities in
life.
Additionally, mindful of the likelihood that
some of the children may go on to higher
education, a further sum has been invested
to meet these future costs, thus honouring
our commitment to support these young
people until all their educational needs have
been met.
Additionally, during the year the Chair has
made 2 visits to Grahamstown. Here she
lives alongside the children and has an
active involvement in their activities and
interests.|
