The charity is a small independent evangelical church governed by its members and directed by
its minister Mr J Witts and the other Trustees.
Aims and Ob'ectives
The charity conducts Christian services each Sunday, Midweek Bible Studies, and Pastoral Care,
a5 appropriate. It also runs a regular weekly cafe, and Youth Club on Fridays, as well as other
occasional activities and events. Foodbank and other support is provided to those in need
within the local community.
It's objective is to show the love of Jesus to those fn the vlllage, glving opportunities for them
to learn more about, and come to faith in Him.
Achievements Performance and Public Benef7t
Worship services and Bible studies take place on a weekly basis. Around 50 young people are
part of our Youth Club, with numbers averaging over 30 per week. Cafe is appreciated by many
older members of the village, giving them gives an opportunity to %xialise weekly. The church
supports other community events, and John Witts is Vice Chair of Governors at the Primary
School.
Financlal Review
The Chartty had a deficit of £16,099 for the year ended 31 December 2020. Thls was met by
re*rves. The ongoing funding of the Charity fs befng secured through grants, with the option of
releasing capItaL from assets if requlred.

I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above
charity (Ihe Twst'} for the year ended 3111212022.

As the charitys trustees, you are responsible for the preparation of the
accounts in accordan￿ with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011
I report in respect of my examination of the Trusys accounts carried out
under section 145 of the 2011 Ad and in carying out my examination, I
have follovled all the applicable Directions gtven by the Chartty Commission
under section 145(5){b) of the Ad.
Independent I have completed my examination. I confinn that no material matters have
examinerfs ststsment come to my attention in connection with the examination {other than that
disdosed below "I which gives me cause to believe that in, any material
respect:
