## **INTRODUCTION:**

Bilal Academy is a charity organisation established in order to cater for the religious, social and educational needs of the community and to provide services for the care and wellbeing of our community.

The COVID-19 pandemic has had its profound impact on delivering our services and loss of income that led to challenges in all areas of charity work. Due to Government guidelines and national lockdown the charity was closed between March 2020 to April 2021.

However, even with these unprecedented challenges Bilal Academy have strived to create a friendly and supportive environment to the community of Walsall with an online presence and remote support via our website, email and phone.

## **OBJECTIVES:**

Our Doctrine is to promote the teachings of the Quran, the Prophet Muhammad and his companions (peace be upon him and them) as defined and interpreted by the Ahlus-Sunnah Wal Jamma'ah and expounded by the Pious predecessors (peace be upon them).

We aim to advance the education of the public and young people by providing language classes and recreational activities to develop their capabilities that they may grow to become good citizens.
