**Objects:** THE PURPOSE OF THE CIO IS TO PROVIDE A COMMUNITY TRANSPORT SERVICE, FOR SUCH INHABITANTS OF RAINOW AND THE SURROUNDING AREA, WHO ARE IN NEED OF SUCH A SERVICE BECAUSE OF AGE, SICKNESS OR DISABILITY (MENTAL OR PHYSICAL), POVERTY, RURAL ISOLATION OR A LACK OF AVAILABILITY OF ADEQUATE AND SAFE PUBLIC TRANSPORT SERVICES.

**Activities:** The Rainow Village Bus runs a Community Bus on behalf of the residents of Rainow and other neighbouring communiities. The facility is run by a group  of around 10 volunteers.  It is available for hire by all the charitable, voluntary, community and social groups in the local area.
