Fencing (BF) our continued support
up to and beyond the completion of the
Paris Olympic cycle (August 2024).
A payment of £25,600 was made to British
Fencing to conclude the support for the
Paris cycle. Some over-run of claims may
be expected.
The Charity has continued its work in
providing funding throughout the financial
period to support GB Epee coach
development along with travel expenses for
team coaches to travel to World Cup
events to support our fencers directly and
World Cup Entries for Senior Epee Teams
in 2024
Following the completion of the Paris
Olympic cycle the charity, along with BF,
has decided to concentrate its use of funds
by focusing our support for British epee
fencing on coaching development.
This will include domestic training camps -
hall rental - coaches and equipment hire.
Epee Coach Development Courses (L2-L3,
L3– L4).
The Charity demonstrated its support for
athletes who required hardship funding by
making an award of £2000 to Cador
Beautyman, whose family circumstances
had significantly changed.
The outcome of which was Cador was a
member of the Junior Men’s Epée team
that won the Gold Medal in the Junior
Men’s Epée team event at the European
Championships in Antalya on Monday 3rd
March 2025. The first team in British
Fencing history to win a major
championship.
