Para 1.20 | The Charity has confirmed with British Fencing its continued funding for the Paris Olympic cycle. The Charity has continued its work in providing funding throughout the financial period to support GB Epee coach development along with travel expenses for team coaches to travel to World Cup events to support our fencers directly. Alongside this, support was given for medical and physiological attendance at World Cup events. Domestic training camps: equipment, hall rental etc. was funded in support of our male and female Junior, Cadet and Senior fencer preparations. We have also provided financial support for GB Junior and Senior team epee entries to World Cup events. The charity continued its support for the Epee Club Cup, thus encouraging the participation in epee fencing by a wide range of abilities and ages. (Junior, seniors, veterans.) The Charity, has on application, provided a grant of £1000 to Susanne Seddon-Cow, a wheelchair fencer, to help in her endeavour to break into the British Squad of elite fencers. |
