providing funding throughout the financial
period to support GB Epee coach
development along with travel expenses for
team coaches to travel to World Cup
events to support our fencers directly.
Alongside this, support was given for
medical and physiological attendance at
World Cup events.
Domestic training camps: equipment, hall
rental etc. was funded in support of our
male and female Junior, Cadet and Senior
fencer preparations.
We have also provided financial support for
GB Junior and Senior team epee entries to
World Cup events.
The charity continued its support for the
Epee Club Cup, thus encouraging the
participation in epee fencing by a wide
range of abilities and ages. (Junior,
seniors, veterans.)
With the beginning of the Olympic cycle for
Paris, new budgets were agreed with
British Fencing in January 2023 for support
of the British senior epee team in their
attempts to qualify.
