To further or benefit the residents of Preston and the surrounding area,
withoul distinction of sex, sexual orientation, race or of political, religious or
other opinions by associating together the said residents and the local
authorities, voluntary and other organisalions in a ¢ommon effort to advance
education and to provide facilities in the interests of soci81 welfare for
recreation and leisure time occupation, including taking advantage of arts,
educational and cullural events in the area wilh Ihe objeclive of improving
the conditions of life for the residents.

into administralion in June 2019 as it was unable to provide the facilities
from which it operated following the forfeiture of the head lease.
