The charity focuses on:

(A) Increasing the provision of and access to health and education facilities.

5. Achievements and Performance

During the financial year, Vision Togo Charity raised a total income of £15,516.53 through donations and grants. The funds were used to support research into educational initiatives, healthcare programmes, and support projects. Notable achievements include research and development into inequities in maternal healthcare, particularly in childbirth and midwifery services.

In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, we consolidated learnings from our fieldwork in healthcare logistics during the lockdown in Togo. We successfully provided personal protective equipment (PPE) in Lome Grand Marché, ensuring the safety of frontline workers and the community.

6. Plans for Future Periods

Looking ahead, the charity will continue to focus on expanding access to education and healthcare while providing ongoing support for agricultural projects. New initiatives will include furthering our work in online CPD for healthcare workers, advancing software development and technical training, addressing health disparities in reproductive and maternal health, and focusing on improving the health of agricultural workers through new research and development efforts.
